Scarlett leads the Science Based Targets initiative’s work on Beyond Value Chain Mitigation, is the Director of Standards of the Food and Land Use Coalition and sits on the Steering Committee of the Science Based Targets Network Land Hub. She has co-authored a number of flagship publications on carbon markets, nature-based solutions and the transformation of food and land use systems including “Growing Better: Ten Critical Transitions to Transform Food and Land Use”, “Accelerating the 10 Critical Transitions: Positive Tipping Points for Food and Land Use Systems Transformation”, and “Prosperous Land, Prosperous People: Scaling finance for Nature-based Solutions in Kenya”. Scarlett has also worked with large multinational companies on their climate and nature strategies and has advised standards bodies and framework initiatives on how to raise the bar on corporate action on climate and nature.
